For the fourth time this month, 35 workers from the XXXX Gold brewery in Milton went on strike yesterday, standing outside the main gate holding placards and chanting criticism of the company.
United Voice spokesman Damien Davie says the main issue arises over the company’s plans to employ contractors at a cheaper rate to cover full-time employees when on leave.
