Australia’s first pill testing station will be available at Canberra music festival Groovin The Moo this coming weekend.
The trial will allow festival-goers to have their illegal drugs tested by independent group STA-SAFE, with anonymous data being collected to help inform research and policy formulation.
ACT Health describes the testing as a harm reduction measure, with health experts alleging young people were less likely to consume drugs once they knew what was in them.
