A new type of shrinking plastic mulch film is set to help Australian farmers reduce waste by up to 30%.
The product was developed by Brisbane brothers Robert and Mark Trenchard, and received worldwide attention earlier this year for its’ ability to shrink and tighten when exposed to the sun.
Fruit and vegetable farmers use the film to protect their crops from harmful weeds, as well as preserving produce once it begins to grow.
