North Korea is expected to release three American prisoners, as a gesture of goodwill to the US- North Korea summit due to happen in a few weeks ahead.
White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders states details concerning the Americans’ release could not be confirmed, but states Washington are cautiously optimistic about these developments with Pyongyang.
Sander states, it "would be an incredible step and certainly a sign of goodwill moving into the summit and discussions with North Korea".
