A Foodworks in Jindalee went up in flames at 6PM local time last night, with nearby shops in the Curragundi Road shopping centre also badly damaged.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said the blaze didn’t appear to be suspicious but fire crews will investigate the cause further.
Fortunately, no one was inside the supermarket when the fire started as an oil fryer set the place ablaze.
