A new art exhibition in Sydney explores the contemporary Australian Muslim experience, the Khalas exhibition at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Galleries in Sydney features works across a number of mediums.

Khalas in Arabic has several definitions including “stop”, “finish” and “enough” to signify that many Australian Muslims have had enough.

Curator Phillip George says that the exhibition offers a chance for many Australians to get out of their anglo-saxon dome and start to look at the world with a new vision.
