41 people, including 20 children, are dead after a damn burst in central Kenya after weeks of torrential rains on Wednesday.
Residents are describing the situation as “hell on earth” with two villages wiped out and rescue efforts hindered by the heavy rains.
Over 220,000 people have been displaced and 172 people are dead since March due to the severe flooding.
