Many Nicaraguan citizens have participated in new anti-government protests in the capital, Managua and Matagalpa y Chinandega.
While wearing colours of the nation’s flag and shouting anti-government slogans, Nicaraguans held pictures of people killed in last month’s protests.
The demonstrations began due to President Daniel Ortega’s decision to allow funding cuts to pensions and social security.
