The Democratic Republic of the Congo has confirmed their first death in the latest ebola outbreak with 11 more people infected, including three medical staff.
17 people have died in the region with ebola like symptoms since December, however these cases were not confirmed through testing.
This is the ninth time ebola has been reported in the Congo since it’s diseases first appearance in the 1970’s.
