Screen industry professionals are warning Australia that streaming service giants like Netflix could leave the country behind, if the government doesn’t provide enough incentives for onshore filming and production.
Companies like Netflix are constantly looking to make new content and have big budgets they could potentially bring to Australia.
However existing laws deny these companies access to location offsets, deterring them from filming in Australia.
