Queensland’s Unemployment Is The Worst In Australia

Alongside Western Australia, Queensland’s unemployment rates are the lowest nationally.

Last April, the state’s unemployment rates rose from 6.1% to 6.5% and has lost 8200 jobs.

While LNP deputy leader Tim Mander accused the Labor government for the state’s condition, Treasurer Jackie Trad said Queensland prevails in being a jobs-generating powerhouse.
