Human Rights group ‘Reprieve’ have accused the British Government of funding human rights abuse in Bahrain.
They claim money from a controversial UK fund was used to train groups who were later involved in torture and executions between 2012 and 2017.
Director of Reprieve Maya Foa called on Britain to ensure Bahrain takes on basic anti-torture steps as a condition for further assistance.
