A Brisbane city bus was hijacked by a 27-year-old man in West End on Wednesday afternoon.
The man allegedly smashed a glass panel, threatened the driver and forced him to drive off-course for 15 minutes before police stopped the bus and detained the man at St Pauls Terrace at Spring Hill.
The man appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday and was charged with wilful damage, possession of dangerous drugs and obstructing police.
