A live stargazing event took place in the Roma Street Parklands on Wednesday where astronomical photographs were projected onto the William Jolly Bridge.
The event was one of hundreds taking place around the country as the ABC, in partnership with the Australian National University, aimed to break the Guinness World Record for the most people stargazing at once
Plenty of images captured by local photographers were on show at the free event.
