Irish expats in Australia are frustrated at their inability to vote in today’s abortion referendum.
Irish emigrants who have left the country for more than 18 months are unable to vote.
Currently the 8th Amendment of the Irish Constitution restricts abortion in all cases, even in instances of fetal abnormalities, rape, child sexual abuse and incest.
