Last month’s census has revealed that homelessness in Australia has gone up a total of 14 percent nationally over the last 5 years, with Brisbane seeing an increase of around 30 percent.

This comes after more than a $9 billion dollar investment since 2009 through the National Affordable Housing Agreement.

A new $4.6 billion dollar agreement that would look to fund Affordable Housing schemes for states over the next 3 years is yet to be signed.
