British foreign secretary, Boris Johnson, has been targeted by a Russian prank caller pretending to be the new prime minister of Armenia.

In the phone call, which was later uploaded to YouTube, Johnson congratulated the caller who he believed to be the new Armenian prime minister, even going on to discuss relations between Russia and Britain with the caller.

Johnson hung up following 18 minutes of conversation, after growing suspicious of the caller’s claims Putin was funding British opposition Labour Party leader, Jeremy Corbyn.
