The Sunshine Coast adventure park, where a 14-year-old schoolboy was critically injured, now says it’s too early to speculate on how the accident occured after earlier releasing a statement saying safety equipment was not to blame.

The Year 9 student, Connor Petterson, remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital after being injured in a high-ropes course.

It is believed Connor, from Brisbane's Marist College, became entangled and suffered neck and facial injuries while on a school camp at Adventure Alternatives Education Centre.
