A 71-year-old Australian Nun has been ordered to leave the Philippines after she was arrested and detained for participating in political protests last month.
Our Lady of Sion Nun, Patricia Fox, urged the Philippines Government not to deport her, as she was protesting to protect the underprivileged in society and did not have a political agenda.
A petition will be presented to the Embassy of the Philippines in Canberra to ask she not be deported from the country.
