A $500,000 upgrade has been announced for the Meakin Park sporting fields near Logan under the Palaszczuk Government’s new Female Facilities Program.
Member for Waterford Shannon Fentiman says Football Queensland will use the funding to upgrade nine dressing rooms and referees room to include 29 brand new unisex shower cubicles and 10 unisex toilets.
Palaszczuk’s program overall involves $15.2 million worth of funded projects designed to improve female facilities in Queensland.
