Queensland’s Capricorn Caves have been voted the best place to listen to Opera in Australia, beating the Sydney Opera House.
The caves are located north of Rockhampton and have an acoustic score of 2.1, which over the perfect acoustic score of 2.
Ex miner Bruce Edwards has been bringing The Underground Opera Company to the caves for the last decade.
