The number of abandoned cars at Brisbane Airport has doubled so far this financial year.
With 33 cars having been dumped, this is a significant increase from 17 and 13 in the past two years.
A Brisbane Airport Corporation spokeswoman said there was no reason for the number of dumped cars almost doubling in the past year, and the hunt is now on for the owners.
