Brisbane is facing its coldest start to Winter in twelve years, with minimum temperatures of eight and nine degrees predicted from today.
Weatherzone meteorologist, Kim Westcott, said the good news is the daytime will be beautifully sunny, clear and crisp, but morning and evening temperatures will be on the nippy side.
The cooler temperatures are the result of a cold front that been was pushed across from south-eastern Australia on Wednesday afternoon.
