Several left-turn-on-red signs will be removed in Brisbane for not complying with newly enforced road rules.

48 left-turn-on-red intersections across Brisbane were gradually implemented since Brisbane City Council’s first successful trial in 2013, but the Department of Transport and Main Roads now said rules concerning turn movements at intersections must be in line with New South Wales.

Seven left-turn-on-red intersections have now been decommissioned.
