The European Union court has ruled that same-sex spouses are entitled to European residency.
All European countries must treat same-sex marriages the same as heterosexual ones and be given the basic right to live and work - regardless on the individual countries stances on same-sex marriage.
The verdict has been a long wait for LGBT right groups.
