In a commissioned report from Australian Defence forces, what some are calling ‘troubling’ and ‘difficult to ignore’ actions of Australian special forces troops have come to light.

The report was conducted by sociologist Dr Samantha Crompvoets, and in a series of interviews has allegedly confirmed claims of Australian forces lacking regard for Afghan civilians, drug and alcohol abuse in the service, and a perceived lack of accountability.

Interviewees came forward in the report saying that the relationship between the SAS and Commandos had almost completely broken down and that an operational rift has emerged amongst elite special forces units.
