Google is implementing new standards which prohibit the use of artificial intelligence for military purposes, after company employees protested against technology developed with the United States military.
As a result, Google will ban artificial intelligence in all weapons and some surveillance technology.
Instead, the company Chief Executive Sundar Pichai released a statement which said they will look for contracts in areas in cybersecurity, military recruitment and search and rescue.
