The Bangladesh government have arrested more than 13,000 people as apart of a linked effort with Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte’s drug war.

With over 130 alleged drug dealer dying in the crack-down, the United Nations have condemned what they’re calling a bloodbath which began three weeks ago.

There have been calls to independently investigate the government’s methods of stopping the importation of local methamphetamine colloquially known as ‘yaba’.
