The New South Wales state government announced a $1 billion dollar investment into the state ambulance service ahead of the NSW budget next Tuesday.
The investment will see 750 new paramedics and call centre staff added to the service, with the first 200 being deployed in the next 12 months.
Treasurer Dominic Perrottet said that the investment will mean more paramedics in Sydney’s West and South-West regions.
