Mansfield families facing the biggest rate rise in the 2018-19 Brisbane council budget are warning the flow-on effects will be felt by their kids and local businesses.
Brisbane’s south-east was hit with rate rises of more than $100 a year, but lord mayor Graham Quirk still claimed his budget was a “perfect 10”.
Mansfield has been hit heaviest by the rate rise, followed by Wishart, Wakerley, Seven Hills and Sunnybank Hills.
