The United States has pulled out of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
Nikki Haley, US ambassador to the UN, announced the withdrawal suggesting the council was not worthy of its name.
The US has often criticised the council of anti-Israel bias, which has passed 70 resolutions critical of Israel since its inception, more than any other nation.
