Woolworths customers in NSW, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia will be provided with free reusable bags from today until July 8.
Woolworths believes this incentive should help customers get used to its single-use plastic bag ban that recently went to action.
"We understand it's a big change and we know that remembering your reusable bags every time you shop isn't easy," the supermarket chain said on its website on Friday.
