Queensland Rail has announced Brisbane’s train timetable will not go on holidays for the first time in 18 months.
Following the opening of the Redcliffe Peninsula Line in October 2016, hundreds of services were cancelled due to a shortage of available train drivers.
However, for the first time since the driver supply issue affected services a year and a half ago, services will continue as normal during the upcoming June-July school holidays.
