Phillippines Mayor, Ferdinand Bote, has been killed in the second assassination of a public official in the past two days.
On Monday, the mayor of Tanauan city, Antonio Halili, was shot in the chest during a weekly flag-raising ceremony.
Bote became the 12th elected official murdered since President Duterte unleashed an extreme anti-narcotics campaign following his election two years ago.
