Brisbane’s Bicentennial Bikeway is amongst the most popular bike routes in the world, according to data captured throughout this year.
The Brisbane route is ranked fifth among more than 211 data sets collected from 53 countries, with more than 950,000 riders already counted this year.
Bicycle Queensland chief Anne Savage celebrated the announcement as Brisbane is the only Australian city featuring in the top ten, attributing the success to well-funded and supported bicycle infrastructure.
