Queensland pharmacists are wanting to sell medication, such as Viagra, over the counter.
The Pharmacy Guild of Australia proposed allowing pharmacists to dispense drugs for uncomplicated ear or urinary tract infections, erectile dysfunction, skin conditions and migraines, so patients do not need to see a doctor for a prescription.
Pharmacy Guild of Australia Queensland president, Chris Owen, said the proposal could help Queenslanders get treatment a lot quicker.
