Passengers on a flight from the Philippines to Brisbane this week have been urged to check their immunisation status after a child on board was found to have measles.

The child also visited Springwood Shopping Mall and Logan Hospital but has been admitted to the emergency department of Brisbane's Lady Cilento Children's Hospital.

Authorities have warned people on Sundays’ flight from Manilla to be alert to symptoms, which include fever, coughing, runny nose, rashes and sore eyes.
