Spanish rescue workers have saved 340 migrants stuck in the mediterranean sea, Spain’s coast guard rescued 240 people from 12 boats, 10 boats were in the Gibraltar strait and 2 other boats in the Alboran Sea.
One man also tried to make the crossing on a truck tyre.
The International Organizations for migration’s latest figures show 16,902 people have arrived in Spain with 294 dying in their attempts to make it to Spain.
