New Zealand has passed a bill to give domestic violence victims ten days of paid leave on top of existing holiday and sickness entitlements.
The Green Party member, Jan Logie, says the nation’s domestic violence problem won’t be solved unless resources and efforts are focused on what happens before the police are called.
