Stage three of the Gold Coast light rail to Burleigh has been given the green light, with potential extensions across the border in years to come.
Member for Tweed, Geoff Provest, believes extension of the light rail across the border would revolutionise transport into the future and beyond.
Study and public consultation regarding this potential phase is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
