A teenage rural fire service volunteer has been charged with lighting several blazes around central Queensland in recent months.
The 19-year-old allegedly used mosquito coils and cotton wool to deliberately light several grass fires, which he was charged for on Wednesday.
Although he caused no serious damage to property, a large amount of grazing land and grassland has been destroyed by the fires.
