Visualisations of extinct animals found at a central Queensland mine will now be visualised by the Queensland Museum through 3D scanning.
Numerous extinct species of mammals, reptiles and marsupials will become digitised thanks to a $7.6 million dollar partnership with global resources company BHP.
Queensland Museum acting CEO Jim Thompson said the technology will change the way the museum will share its 1.2 million objects with the world.
