The Diversity Council Australia released a report today finding up to two thirds of employees who are diverse in gender and sexuality are concealing their identity in the workplace, significantly compromising their wellbeing and performance.

 

It found they twice as likely to feel down compared to employees who are ‘out’ to their colleagues and are 45% less likely to be satisfied with their job.

 

Diversity Council Australia CEO, Lisa Annese ["arn-niece"] says the report confirms we still have a long way to go.
