The 50 year old Morandi bridge in Genoa, Italy, collapsed during a storm on Tuesday.
The death toll has climbed to 39, and local authorities are evacuating the surrounding areas amidst fears that more of the bridge will collapse.
A state of emergency in Italy has been declared as rescuers continue to search for survivors.
