A queensland teacher has failed to overturn her suspension after developing a close friendship with one of her students.
Allegedly, the teacher allowed the student to stay overnight at her house, and gifted her a number of items including a leather jacket.
She also inappropriately entered the student’s tent in the early hours of the morning during a class camping trip.
The teacher’s registration was suspended in 20-17 on the grounds that she “posed an unacceptable risk of harm to children”.
