A new low-dose three in one pill could transform how high blood pressure is treated around the world, according to a trial led by The George Institute for Global Health.

The trial revealed 70 per cent of patients reached blood pressure targets with the ‘triple pill’, compared to just over half receiving normal care.

Dr Ruth Webster, from the institute, says this is a major advancement—the triple pill was not only more effective than standard care, but it was also safe.
