The state branch of Katter's Australian Party is defending their Queensland Senator Fraser Anning maiden speech despite widespread condemnation.
QLD Premier Annastasia Palaszczuk said Anning’s support for the White Australia Policy and comments on Muslim Immigration, expressed in his speech on Tuesday, were revolting.
Mr Katter says he is sorry some Muslims in his electorate feel betrayed but he is refusing to take back his remarks on Muslim immigration.
