The Palaszczuk Government has announced speed limit changes to the M1 to reduce speed limits in some sections along the Brisbane to Gold Coast motorway.
The changes will introduce variable speed limit signs like those seen on the Centenary Highway to warn drivers in advance of congestion and crashes.
Opposition Leader Deb Frecklington says lowering the speed limit on the M1 is an admission that Labor has no plan for major infrastructure upgrades.
