Traditional owners in North Queensland are calling for the Queensland Government to rule out extinguishing their land rights to Adani’s Carmichael Coal mine.
A spokesperson for the Wangan and Jagalingou Traditional Owner’s Council says it would be a travesty for the Government to wipe out native title rights in a federal court meeting with the Adani Group this afternoon.
