A Local Queensland radio station has made the decision to ban all Perth music artists from its broadcasts in support of the Super Netball Grand Finals team the Sunshine Coast Lightning.
The Station Hot91 Sunshine Coast FM has banned artists such as INXS, Baby Animals, Birds of Tokyo and Eskimo Joe in order to show support for the team’s radio partner.
This decision has been met with some criticism on twitter as West Coast Fever player Nat Medhurst responded with disapproval towards the ban.
This ban however will be lifted following the games finish on Sunday.
